Throughout The Day...

Henley-on-Mersey offers visitors a vast array of entertainment and family based activities such as:


Ferret Racing, Archery Competition, Whip Cracking Demonstration, Egg Throwing Competition, The Singing Farmer, Sheaf Tossing Competition, Betta Boat Land Race, Latrobe Federal Band, Ferret Chocolate Wheel, Great Aussie Cherry Spit Competition, Wood Chopping, Model Boats, Nearest the Pin Golf Competition, Iron Trial Strongman Exhibition, Historic Machinery, Classic Cars, Gumboot Throwing Competition, Novelty Challenges, 501st Copperhead Squad, Sand Art, Model Boats, Sherwood Hall Pioneering Display, Face Painting, Hurdy Gurdy rides, Zorb Balls and Slider and Wildlife Display.

Food and refreshments are available throughout the ground.



This event is coordinated by the Henley-on-Mersey Management Committee, a collaboration by the Rotary Club of Latrobe, Lions Club of Latrobe and Latrobe Council.

The event was attended bymore than 8000 people including 3000 - 3500 children last year.

Henley-on-Mersey is the municipality of Latrobe's celebration of Australia Day (26th January) held at the beautiful Bell's Parade each year. Branded; Food, Fun, Ferrets and Fitness indicates this event is designated a family day with activities for all. Coordinated by the Henley-on-Mersey Management Committee, a collaboration of the Rotary Club of Latrobe, Latrobe Lions Club and Latrobe Council.
